Mi C.A.S.A. leaders visit Sacramento,CA and U.C. Davis.
Students from high School and middle School joined State interns and College students to tour the state’s capital and review how ideas become laws. The importance of individual ambitions, creativity and dedication to the public’s welfare was explained to the students by others that were in their shoes and, now, are working to make California
better. The students were amazed at the law making process and the value of their individual ideas and concerns. They were highly motivated to do their best on the classes and to stay informed of congressional sessions and votes.
At U.C. Davis farm labor college students lead a tour around campus, by dormitories, past lecture halls, and best of all, through the cafeteria.the variety and abundance of food options was amazing. Everyone was excited to be a university student in the future.
