Gateway Science Center, summer 2015

Fortunate Fourth and Fifth Graders were invited to attend a one week, all day, science camp. College students lead  centers focused on astronomy. Students did solar craft projects, built telescopes, researched the solar system.Throughout the week students were very enthusiastic about all the lessons they explored and learned. It was a great jump start on the science lessons and research techniques they would need in science classes in the fall.  At the end of the week they were allowed to see the moon and Mars through the Anita Ingrao Observatory. What an awesome experience! Mi CASA appreciates our teacher drivers, Mike and Mindy Tuft, and Pam Wolf, that provided transportation every morning and late afternoon.
